Wheelchair Ramp Fund

A vital piece of Wichita’s Littlest Heroes’ mission is to ease everyday burdens and hardships that Hero families face daily. The opportunity to build and the evident need for wheelchair ramps have perfectly aligned for 5 families served within this organization. There is a local group, Neighbor to Neighbor, who specializes in accomplishing projects for community members in need. This group has given Wichita’s Littlest Heroes a quote on each of the five ramps needed and a list of supplies and is ready to build.

 

Giving families the ability to easily transport their child in and out of their home will lift a physical burden to parents or caretakers while giving Heroes the confidence that the simple act of going outside is attainable on their own, or at least not an added hardship to those around them.
